We believe that Baptism sets the Christian apart by openly expressing our faith in Jesus Christ. Baptism is a symbol of the commitment we make when we repent of our sins and receive the free gift of salvation through Christ, and Christ alone. We understand that Jesus set the example for us when he was baptized (Matthew 3:13, Mark 1:9, Luke 3:21) and he commanded us to do the same in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:18).

We believe that every Christian must follow Christs command to be baptized (Matthew 28:18). Baptism Class
Class description: Whether you have committed to taking the next step in your relationship with Jesus by baptism, have questions about what we believe about baptism here at OCH, or want clarification about what you have learned, this class is for you. Each class will take place the week before sacrament Sunday during second service from 11:00-12:00.
