Status: Part-Time (10+ hours/week)
Reports To: Lacey Felts, Operations Senior Director

Position Overview

The Part-Time Facilities Coordinator oversees the operations and maintenance of the organization’s facilities, including scheduling and following up on work by contract laborers and Facilities Department staff and volunteer teams. This role also supports Campus Support Volunteer teams that are scheduled during the weekly services. This role also maintains procedures to ensure safe and well-maintained facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections to identify needs.
• Order facility supplies as needed.
• Schedule contract labor, vendors, and volunteers for maintenance tasks.
• Communicate regularly with Campus Support Team Leads and Directors for consistent support.
• Connect with Operations Sr. Director to update on Facility needs, projects, budgets and results of contracted work being performed.

Collaboration & Leadership

• Serve as the primary contact for facility-related inquiries.
• Foster relationships with staff, volunteers, and vendors to support ministry opportunities.
• Maintain high standards for the appearance and functionality of facilities.

Experience

• 5 years in facilities management or related field is preferred.
• Proven background of leadership experience is necessary.
• Proficient in project scheduling systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Planning Center or other church management systems is a plus.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong administrative skills preferred.
• Experience in lawn care/ landscaping and any trade skills are a plus.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to multitask.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team.

Work Hours & Compensation

• This is a part-time position with flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Salary will be based on experience and qualifications.

The Childcare Team Member provides safe, loving care for children (birth–5th grade)
during church events. This includes supervising children, leading age-appropriate activities, maintaining a clean environment, and communicating with parents.

Qualifications:

• Experience in children’s ministry or education preferred
• Background check and abuse awareness training required (age 18+)
• Completion of safety policy training before first shift
• Heart of the House required within 3 months of hire
• Minimum age is 15 years at time of hire.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure safety and well-being of children during events
• Engage kids with stories, games, and crafts
• Maintain a clean and organized space
• Follow all Children’s Ministry safety protocols
• Communicate with parents and support team needs

Work Hours & Compensation

• This is an as-needed position which may include evenings and weekends for church events.
• Rate of pay will be $20 per hour.
