We believe that Baptism sets the Christian apart by openly expressing our faith in Jesus Christ. Baptism is a symbol of the commitment we make when we repent of our sins and receive the free gift of salvation through Christ, and Christ alone. We understand that Jesus set the example for us when he was baptized (Matthew 3:13, Mark 1:9, Luke 3:21) and he commanded us to do the same in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:18).

We believe that every Christian must follow Christs command to be baptized (Matthew 28:18). We follow our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ in baptism, understanding that Jesus set the example for us when He was baptized (Matthew 3:13, Mark 1:9, Luke 3:21).
